Viewing Device Details on Zenconsole

Zenarmor Device Identification feature provides various useful information about your devices connected to the network. To view the device details, you may follow the next steps:

  1. Navigate to Devices page of your firewall on Zenconsole UI.

  2. Select the device list based on the status or category that you want to view. By default, Online devices are listed. You may click All to view all of your devices.

  3. Click on the device that you want to see. Device details will be displayed on the right side of the Devices page.

The following information about the device is displayed on the Device Details pane.

  • First Seen Time: You can view when the device was detected by Zenarmor.

  • Last Seen Time: You can view the latest network activity on the device.

  • Device Status: You can view the status of the device, like Trusted or Untrusted, Hidden, and Starred.

  • Name: You can view, copy, and change the name of the device.

  • Category: You can view, copy, and change the device category from the drop-down menu.

  • Hostname: You can view and copy the hostname of the device.

  • IPv4 Address: You can view and copy the IPv4 address of the device.

  • IPv6 Address: You can view and copy the IPv6 address of the device.

  • Interface: You can view and copy the network interface of your firewall on which the device was detected.

  • HW Address: You can view and copy the hardware (MAC) address of the device.

  • HW Vendor: You can view the hardware vendor of the device.

  • OS Vendor: You can view the operating system that is running on the device.

  • Detail: You can view the other details of the device.

  • Child Devices: You can view the name of the child device if you are viewing a parent device.

You may manage devices by performing the following tasks on your device via the Device Details pane:

  • Mark as Star
  • Mark as Hidden
  • Mark as Trusted or Untrusted
  • Changing Device Name
  • Changing Device Category
  • Stop Automatic Identification
  • Merge with a Parent Device
  • Delete Device
