Acknowledging New Devices on Zenconsole
When Zenarmor detects a new device on your network, it notifies you via the notification bar on the top of the Devices page so that you may acknowledge and decide whether you want to trust newly detected devices.
Figure 1. New Detected Device Notification
You may click View button on the notification bar to see newly discovered devices. These will list the devices recently detected by Zenarmor.
Figure 2. Viewing Newly Detected Devices List
You may view the details of each device by clicking on them individually. In most cases, you will see a message indicating that Initial identification in progress on the details page of a recently discovered device. That means Zenarmor has not yet finalized the procedure for device identification. Consequently, certain fields of the device's information, such as category, operating system, and hardware vendor, might be inaccurate, and Zenarmor may update them autonomously in the future.
We will show the 'Initial identification in progress' event if devices were first seen within the last 48 hours.
