Uninstalling Zenarmor from OPNsense

You can easily uninstall the Zenarmor engine by following the next steps:

1. Navigate to the Zenarmor → Settings → Uninstall on your OPNsense GUI.

2. Stop the Zenarmor engine by clicking Stop Zenarmor Packet Engine.

3. Click Stop button for confirming to stop the engine.

   tip

   You may also uninstall Zenarmor from your OPNsense firewall by navigating to the Zenarmor → Settings → About and clicking Uninstall button in the Software pane.

4. Click Uninstall Zenarmor Packet Engine button. This will pop up a window to confirm the uninstallation.

   You have two options here:

   You can either remove Zenarmor completely with all its data and packages, or you can just remove the packages leaving the data intact.

   • Delete All Data: This option will completely remove all Zenarmor reporting data and its packages from your system.
   • Delete All Folders: This option will remove Zenarmor packages, installation directories, and configuration. It is useful if you are reinstalling or you plan to install Zenarmor in the feature.

5. You may check the proper options to provide uninstallation feedback to the Zenarmor team. This would help Zenarmor improve the software and better serve you in the future. You may either send anonymous feedback or provide your email address if you want the Zenarmor support team to reach out to you about your Zenarmor installation and configuration problems.

6. Click Uninstall to continue the uninstallation.

7. After the uninstallation is completed successfully, you may need to click on the OPNsense icon at the upper left corner to refresh OPNsense Web UI.
