All Firewalls Dashboard

The All Firewalls Dashboard provides a bird's-eye view of all your connected firewalls, displaying system statuses, threat levels, and the top bandwidth consumer hosts and applications.

When you log in to the Zenconsole (Centralized Cloud Management Portal), you will be automatically redirected to the All Firewalls Dashboard. You can get to it from anywhere in your cloud portal by clicking the Home button twice on the side navigation bar.

The following are the main components of the All Firewalls Dashboard:

• Engine Status Summary Bar

• Firewall Panes

It also allows you to perform the following tasks :

• To export the bird's eye view of all connected firewalls.

• To search a firewall

Engine Status Summary Bar

Engine Status Summary Bar gives you summary information about the status of your firewalls. You may apply a filter to view the firewalls by clicking on the following buttons on this bar.

• All: Gives information about the total number of firewalls connected and displays all firewall panes on the dashboard.

• Running: Gives information about the total number of firewalls currently running and displays their panes on the dashboard.

• Bypassed: Gives information about the total number of firewalls currently running in bypass mode and displays their panes on the dashboard.

• Stopped/Unknown: Gives information about the total number of firewalls currently not running and displays their panes on the dashboard.

Firewall Pane

The firewall pane provides you with the following critical system-level information you need to manage your node.

• Engine Status: Status of the Zenarmor® packet engine on the node. It may be Running, Stopped, Bypassed

• Reporting DB Status: Status of the Zenarmor Reporting Database for the node. It may be Running or Stopped.

• Cloud Agent Status: Status of the Zenarmor Reporting Database for the node. If the Cloud Agent on the node is not running, then a warning message (Node not connected) is displayed on the firewall pane.

• Tag: Tag names that you have given for your node.

• Hostname: Domain Name retrieved from the system automatically of the node

• Platform: Operating System (OPNsense, Ubuntu, Centos, FreeBSD, AlmaLinux, Debian, etc) on which the firewall is running

• Location: GeoIP location of the node.

• Subscription: Zenarmor subscription activated on the node. (Free, HOME, SOHO, Business)

• CPU load: The real-time CPU load is displayed.

• Disk Space: Usage percentage of the disk is displayed.

• Memory: Usage percentage of the memory is displayed.

• Top Threats: Top (Top 5 and others) blocked security threats on your network for the current day.

• Top Hosts: Top (Top 5 and others) hosts which have the highest network bandwidth usage for the current day.

• Top Apps: Top (Top 5 and others) applications that have the highest network bandwidth usage for the current day.

Adding/Removing Tag

Zenconsole allows you to add a tag for your node. You can easily manage your firewalls by grouping them with a tag. To add a tag you may follow the next steps given below:

1. Click on the + Add tag button at the upper right of the firewall pane. This will open a dialog box.

2. Enter a tag name as you wish.

3. Click the Add button.

You can add a maximum of 10 tag names for a node.

To remove a tag for the firewall you may follow the next steps given below:

1. Click on the x icon at the right side of the tag name. This will open a dialog box.

2. Click on the Remove button to delete the tag name for the firewall.

Managing Engine Service

You can manage the Zenarmor packet engine service by clicking the engine management drop-down menu ... at the upper right corner of the firewall pane. You can perform the following task by clicking the related buttons on the engine management menu:

• Start/Stop the engine

• Restart the engine

• Enter/Exit Bypass mode

• Refresh engine status

• Update the engine

Filtering Firewalls by Tag

You may apply a filter by clicking on the tag name on a firewall. Let's assume that you have added a tag mycompany for all firewalls in your company network. When you click the mycompany tag name on a firewall, only firewalls with the tag mycompany are displayed on the dashboard.

For your firewalls, you can only use one tag filter at a time.

The applied filter is visible at the top of the dashboard.

Exporting All Firewalls Dashboard

Zenconsole allows you to export the All Firewalls Dashboard in CSV, PDF and .pngformats and download them. To export your Dashboard click on theDownload` drop-down menu at the upper right corner of the Reports page. Then, select the file format you wish to download.

Searching

To apply a search on the All Firewall Dashboard, type a text in the Search field at the upper right corner of the page and then press Enter. The search operation is performed on the following fields:

• Node name

• Hostname

• Platform

• Tag
