We are thrilled to announce that the Zenarmor SASE 2.1 release officially went live yesterday, Monday, October 6th, 2025. This release delivers a redesigned Zenconsole, major Zero Trust upgrades, and important backend changes that partners should prepare for.

What’s New in the Zenarmor SASE 2.1 Release

🌐 Android Support for ZTPA

Zero Trust Private Access now extends to mobile users for secure, seamless connectivity anywhere.

📦 New ZTPA Subscription Tier

SD-WAN and ZTNA bundled into one streamlined package—simplifying deployment and licensing.

🛠 Unified Organization Subscription

Run multiple services (SSE, ZTPA, SASE) under a single subscription for easier scaling and centralized control.

🛡 Inline File Scanning

Real-time malware inspection of downloaded files (SSE and SASE tiers) for stronger protection.

📲 MDM Deployment Support

Seamless rollout via Microsoft Intune, JAMF, and Chocolatey (SSE and SASE tiers).

🔑 Enhanced Authentication

“Built-in Authentication” is now Zenconsole Authentication, with:

  • Google and Microsoft login options
  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
  • Support for multiple org admins and users

A New Zenconsole Experience

Zenconsole is now management-first:

  • Before: Users landed on account settings, then clicked into “My Firewalls.”
  • Now: Users land directly on the dashboard for firewalls, nodes, and organizations.

Account & subscriptions remain accessible under “Account” in the top right. This change streamlines workflows, making administration faster and more intuitive.

Backend Update

With the Zenarmor SASE 2.1 release, support for Elasticsearch 5 and MongoDB backends is discontinued. Customers using these legacy systems must migrate to the supported stack before upgrading.

👉 Partners: Please check customer environments and plan migrations early.

Next Steps for Partners

To ensure a smooth rollout:

  • Get familiar with the new Zenconsole flow
  • Highlight Android ZTPA and MDM deployment as key benefits for remote workforces
  • Emphasize the new authentication options as a major security upgrade
  • Audit deployments for Elasticsearch 5 or MongoDB and prepare transition paths
