Zenarmor

For a long time, small and mid-sized businesses faced an awkward choice with network security. Entry-level plans covered the basics but left out the tools a modern team relies on, such as remote access, endpoint protection, and identity-based policies. Enterprise plans included everything, but came with a price tag and buying process built for much larger organizations.

With Zenarmor 2.7, we are closing that gap. Unified Secure and Unified Secure Plus are two new subscription plans that bring advanced security, Zero-Trust networking, and endpoint protection together in one subscription, at a price a 10-person office can budget for. Both plans are available to buy directly on our website, with no sales call required.

This post walks through the new plans, how they sit alongside our Free, Home, and Enterprise options, and what it means if you are running Zenarmor Business NGFW today.

Most of the feature requests we heard from smaller teams this year had a common thread. They wanted the capabilities available in our SSE, ZTNA, and SASE tiers, but without paying for the unlimited scale, custom SLAs, and sovereign deployment options that larger enterprises need.

Unified Secure and Unified Secure Plus are our answers. They share most of the feature set found in the enterprise tiers, with sensible limits on scale (up to 150 users and 20 sites on self-serve) and a few advanced capabilities reserved for enterprise deployments. The result is a considerably lower price for a very similar day-to-day experience.

Zenarmor plans now fall into three groups, each matching the tabs on our pricing page.

Business plans start at 10 users, and annual billing saves 15%.

Unified Secure: Everything Your Office Needs

Unified Secure is designed for teams that mainly work from one or more offices and want strong, centrally managed protection without add-on complexity.

Every Unified Secure subscription includes:

  • Unlimited policies, with IPS and DNS deep inspection
  • Five endpoint agents and five mesh VPN agents, ideal for admins and key staff
  • Cloud identity provider (Entra ID, Google Workspace, Okta, SAML) and captive portal authentication
  • Gateway high availability and Tier-1 cloud threat intelligence
  • 20 scheduled reports and 15 days of cloud data retention

Need a little more? Full TLS inspection can be added for $3/user/mth, and extra mesh VPN agents are $3 each per month. Pricing starts at $5/user/mth and steps down to $4 as you grow past 50 and then 100 users.

Unified Secure Plus takes everything in Unified Secure and extends it beyond the office walls. It is our most popular choice for hybrid and distributed teams.

On top of the Unified Secure feature set, Plus includes:

  • Two device agents per user, covering a laptop plus a phone or tablet
  • Full TLS inspection, built in rather than added on
  • Full mesh VPN for every user, and site-to-site connectivity across up to 20 sites
  • Up to three overlay networks, with redundancy and failover
  • 30 days of cloud data retention and private network analytics

Plus starts at $9/user/mth and drops to $8 at higher volumes. If you find yourself adding both TLS inspection and extra agents to Unified Secure, Plus usually works out cheaper, and our pricing calculator will show that.

Both plans are licensed per user, not per device. One user license covers the two devices a person actively works on, so your printers, cameras, sensors, and other IoT gear are protected by the gateway without ever using up a license.

A few more details worth knowing:

  • Sites: Your first site is included. Each additional site is $50/site/mth, up to 20 sites.
  • High availability: Every site includes two gateway keys, so an active/passive HA pair counts as a single site on your bill.
  • Longer commitments: Prepaid terms take 15% off list for one year, 25% for three years, and 35% for five.
  • Partners: MSPs and service providers can unlock co-branding, pool licensing, and client management on Business plans with a $250/mth minimum spend.

Not sure of your user count? Open the Subscriptions menu in Zenconsole to see the detected number for your network, even on the Free plan.

Our SSE, ZTNA, and SASE plans remain the choice for organizations that need scale and control beyond what the Unified Secure plans offer. These include unlimited sites and overlay networks, three device agents per user, CASB, real-time file scanning, AI-based anti-phishing, dynamic device posture checks, 90-day retention, custom data residency, and custom SLAs. For 500+ users, we also offer fully sovereign, self-hosted central management, including air-gapped installations by special request; terms and conditions apply.

Because every enterprise deployment is different, these plans are now available exclusively through our sales team, who will tailor pricing and terms to your environment. If your needs grow beyond 150 users or 20 sites, the pricing calculator will guide you to a conversation with the team.

Free and Home remain focused on gateway protection, and with 2.7 they now deliver a lot more around it.

Both plans include the Zenconsole organization structure, so you can manage your gateway and endpoint from a single dashboard, and both now include an endpoint agent for Windows, macOS, or Linux. That means your laptop stays protected even when it leaves your home network. Home also includes a starter Zero-Trust network, with one overlay network and a mesh VPN connection for one user and one gateway.

These additions let you experience more of the Zenarmor platform firsthand. If you like what you see, the step up to a business plan is just a few clicks away.

With the arrival of Unified Secure and Unified Secure Plus, we no longer offer our Business NGFW plan to new customers. If you are an existing customer or partner, nothing changes. Your subscription remains fully supported and renewable, and it keeps working exactly as it does today.

That said, we believe the Unified Secure plans are an excellent next step for most Business NGFW users, offering more features and better long-term value. Our next post puts the two side by side, so you can see exactly what changes and decide when the time is right for you.

Unified Secure and Unified Secure Plus are available now on our pricing page. Use the calculator to estimate your cost by users and sites, start a free trial with no credit card needed, or reach out to our team if you prefer invoicing, need enterprise features, or want help choosing.
